About Evesham Methodist

The total membership is over 200, and there are about 450 people who are in regular contact with us. During the last few years we have had a steady flow of new arrivals who have quickly settled in , and some are now playing important roles in the leadership.

In March 2002 our Church became the first Church in Great Britain to be awarded the Eco Congregation Award by Environmental Campaigns (an environmental charity which runs the Keep Britain Tidy, Gong for Green, and Church Environmental projects.) To see their site click on www.encams.org

Evesham Methodist Church is part of the Stratford on Avon and Evesham Circuit of the Methodist Church.  Click here for the Stratford on Avon Website.

Where we are : The church is situated in a central position in the town, right alongside the River Avon, at the bottom end of Bridge Street.

Our premises adjoin the old Workman Bridge which is seen here.

The church is often host to coach parties who come for some refreshment during or after a day out in the the historic town, or other nearby attractions such as Stratford upon Avon, or Cheltenham, or after touring the Cotswolds.
